I don't even get a mention in the fit pics? Jeez. :cloud:

I think because you are consistently baller looking whereas I have had some bad fits in the past (also no one said I dethroned anyone that was 330ck)

EDIT: Just realized how silly this haul looks after jamiebryant's. I'm so sorry.

Not much to speak of recently, but I'm happy with these.

Brag time. Will not measure up. NWT VV tie, custom for a local hospital.
Shirts: Turnbull. 16 x 35.5
Better shots of the Battistoni from the other day. Good project shirts, if someone wants to flip the cuffs. 16 x 35ish.
Zegna houndstooth. XL. ~18 x 36.5
Viyella for Land's end. Wool/cotton blend. MINE!
And then I think a cloud mated with freshly driven snow while having a threesome with thin air. This shirt was cut as if it was custom made for me, is incredibly awesome, but has no tags. I'd put this at or above Charvet level. Going to be perfect this summer. EDIT: What's up with the yoke on this? I've seen split and center yoke, but never this.
Suits. PRL USA, 40R. Like Kim Kardashian, it has some issues.
Valentino by Zegna. Super 1x0s. Soft, flannelized, and excellent. Unvented, though, and whoever tailored the waist did a HACK job. Can't be let out, and probably needs to be taken in. 42L w 35 waist.
Hickey Freeman silver label windowpane suit. Pattern is insanely awesome. I'll be keeping this one. 42L.
And an Armani for Ebay that's unworthy of your attention.

Cant believe another SC found with 14k gold buttons.
This seams to be turning into an annual find for thrifters of the thread.

Congrats on those buttons as well as the rest of the haul.
That's def. a top contender in the second annual cheapies!

Come to think of it, now that my boner has gone down, I highly doubt JB hauled all those goodies in 1 day. I'm thinking since he's been MIA, he's been collecting goodies for weeks if not month and consolidated the best stuff. But who cares! That **** is the bomb shitzzzzzz! I'll be happy just thrifting one CDG piece let along muti! Now, if I can only find any Wtaps in a GW...

Whoa!

Jamiebryant: mind blown!

Dex: very nice stuff. That Faconnable is nice; just wish it wasn't orange.

38R: love the tie, jacket (suit?) And shoes. Just not together. Scale of the dots makes it not quite right for a suit somehow (just mho), and the shoes are so formal thet seem over the top with a conservative fit. All just mho; again, I love the pieces individually.

And to the new guy: nice things in general, but I think Barrell was right about the orphan -- in fact, I think most of them are. Brooks brothers orphans (other than black fleece) and most others should be avoided. True top tier stuff, like Kiton or Brioni, can be picked up in orphan form.
+1 on Jamiebryant... Wow!

Don't agree on the shoes. Spectators are not too formal. They're a spring / summer shoe, though, so I'm not sure they go with a dark suit. Maybe a light gray, lighter-than-navy, or gray seersucker.

I used to be able to move down a rack of suits & jackets quickly, checking for nice fabric. Now I have to look at every single one to make sure I'm not missing gold buttons!

I'll save you some time... No Stafford, Hilfiger, Nautica, Arnold Palmer, Lauren RL, etc. will have solid gold buttons.
