Jamie, way to bring this thread up a couple of notches - congrats, man!

Went to five stores yesterday and got skunked, other than an RLPL tuxedo shirt (size 15, available).

And just because, a casual friday crappy bathroom thrift fit:

Sweater: Hackett (thrifted)
Jeans: Simon Miller selvedge (thrifted)
Shoes: Alden Indy Boots (Ebay)

Found these over the holiday but never shared.

All Polo (obviously) cotton neckties, but the middle is made for Nieman Marcus. I don't see the "Made by Hand" tag often. Can anyone tell me more about them?

Wife says it's a polar bear, I say Thundercat!

Cole Haan Suede Saddle shoes N/A

Reads: Special Edition; Summer 1996

Hardly worn at all. I'll solve that this summer.

"G2" in lower right?

Leather weekend bag, some of the nicest and most supple leather I've handled (Glove leather maybe?). Unbranded. N/A

"Hey Cap'n, would you like your cherry popped today?"

"Sure! Just be gentle."

"Ok. Brace yourself."

"Oh yeah, that feels good."

That's a really good fit.

Those PRL ties are really cool. Made by Hand does well on flea bay depending on the pattern and condition though.

Jamie, unbelievable! It's weird, just yesterday I was thinking to myself how many thousands of buttons I've flipped over since the original gold buttons were posted. Well done on everything, lots of fun to see!

I've been keeping up with the thread this week, but I've been buried in work for most of it so I haven't been posting much. If I owe you a PM, I'll get back to you ASAP!

Is there an easy way to tell gold buttons? I saw a Burberry jacket today with buttons very similar to those...

Anything with gold content will likely be stamped 14k, 18k, etc. on the back of the button.

Plus they should feel heavier.

You just won the year.  That's more desirable SW&D labels than I've seen my entire time thrifting.  Cotdamn.

Which explains why PRL and Brooks Brothers were just about the only names I recognized....

MADEJA CLICK!

No, seriously, even awesome hauls should be spoilered. It's really annoying on handhelds.

Also annoying is posting 300 spoilers in a row. It makes it impossible to scroll without clicking the spoilers.

I was in Vienna yesterday and had great weather. I didn't find a huge amount of stuff I'd post here, mostly stuff that would be of no interest. However, I did find some Dior again:

Bee shirt, Japan only. I think (?) these are high demand, though I'm out of the loop with Dior stuff. I'm happy to learn though, if it means I find more :) I won't say this is NWOT, but the basting at the hem is still intact so it hasn't been in a washing machine. It still had fold creases as well. The place had this one marked up considerably, but it was still inexplicably cheaper than an Etro next to it. Unavailable.

Ugly pair of women's Persols.

A bit late in the season, but a Harris Tweed jacket. The lighting is way off, but it's a really nice blue.

Pal Zileri boots. Pretty nice and they were cheap, so I'm halfway through conditioning them. They were a dried nubuck or something similar, so I just decided to soak them in conditioner. We'll see how it works.

PRL loafers. No country on them, but the heels are nailed.

Chanel pumps from earlier in the week. Thanks again to Nat and Vlassis for confirming them!

Ties, L to R: no name cotton, vintage made in England silk, Gucci

English silk with damage that I only noticed in the picture and wool

Borsalino scarf. What in the hell is PLV? It declares proudly that it is 100% P.L.V.

I'll be honest, I don't normally buy used shoes for myself. I did, however, really like these and they're really well made. I know Italian makers are notoriously difficult to ID compared to the English makers, but any clues?

Finally, I was walking down the sidewalk and noticed some "art" that hadn't been corrected yet.

Nothing amazing here. But six solid, staple albums in insanely good condition for under $5 seemed like a good deal.
