Who would actually wear this :puzzled: I think it's vintage 90's?
One of my severe weaknesses is 90's ties. :embar: Though I must say I usually go for the earth tone variety. Todays meager finds. Tino Cosma, Versace, and a No Name PS. Hand rolled with purple accents. Not shown are some white Inco Chino Lino.

Also anyone ever heard of Ariel Aizenay? PIcked up two pair of awesome button fly khakis that are being altered now. Possibly some kind of French Military Surplus?

School me on the brands?

The Mallory (grey one on the right) is a nice brand of hat and this one seems to be in condition, the hole in the liner notwithstanding. The Mallory also looks pretty clean, but a light brushing would not hurt. It could also use a reblocking or at least some shaping using a bit of steam. Might be beaver felt or rabbit. My Mallory is rabbit and looks similar texture-wise. The other one is made of wool and not really worth much, but still useful as a knockabout hat, but kind of cool it was made for use on Philadelphia Transit. I'd say you could brighten the day of a hat lover with both.

I am almost 100% certain it's a fake (does Hermes make ties that feel like acrylic?), yet the tags, markings, everything, appear legit.

(Do they?)

I have not seen too many legit Hermes ties in person, but, as far as I know the "printed" label has not changed at all in decades, whereas the woven tie-keep label / one in your photo has changed a bit over time...but either way, I have never seen a label with the "extra" piece sticking out of the front of the horse, and the horse always had a very straight front leg (not bent as in your photo). It might be legit but not consistent with the ones I've seen and were confident in buying. Might be a Hermes expert here who can verify 100%.

Canali Milano. May not have been a good idea because of the color, taking a chance anyway.
