Can we stop quoting huge photos just to say "Nice haul" or something along those lines, please? At least spoiler it...

    I am sorry.
I was interested in multiple things and only quoted my interest.
But I went back and looked at my post and saw how it could still be annoying.
    It won't happen again.
I will take it to pm.

Great post and VERY interesting. I have often wondered about the history and provenance of all these great thrift finds, and why someone would give up an especially fine item, etc. As a reader here (finally registered recently), I've noted the occasional "thanks, dead guy" jokes, but never really gave that much serious thought. Now, I'm beginning to wonder... How much of the good stuff is essentially bequeathed to us through this channel? It's a grim thought in a way.

Hmmm... Mainy just pulled in a nice haul... with solid pieces and solid pictures... but minimal written descriptions... and NO size information. Did he come up with any Charvet shirts as well?

Hi - thank you for the info / input. I bought it solely based on it being 100% escorial, and the Oxxford tag was the 2nd thing I saw. But you're right - it is rather dowdy - as in - "English countryside old men's weekend wear" dowdy.

There's no "seller feedback" area I could find (so beat me if I'm blind), but I wanted to post something along those lines regardless:

Dealt with Nataku, a very nice guy, and he shipped the item like a superhero -- received in two days. I registered basically because of the item (long-term lurker) so doubly appreciated his positive assessment and willingness to transact.

    Best,

    Randy

Here's the tag from my Zanella SC. I bought this new at Saks Off 5th about 2-3 years ago. I would say yes:

Interesting. I'd never heard of escorial before. Thanks for the info.
