Picked up a couple ties yesterday. Anyone know who made ties for Carson Street? Chalkiest feeling tie I’ve ever gotten at goodwill.

Need your help. Thrifted this Ted Baker a while back. Is it a suit or a tux? I’m leaning to tux as it only has one button. But could also be a weird crossover? Have both the jacket and pants. It’s my size, but not sure how to wear it. Might try to flip.

Lots of one-button suits and sport coats out there. Pretty sure Huntsman’s are generally one button. Seems like a striped suit to me.

Ok so I picked this up coat at an estate sale this morning. 15 bucks. I know you guys have posted these before and I did not realize how pricey these are. I will probably keep this one and wondering if I can get some reviews from you guys. This would seem to be a cashmere blend with detachable fur collar and good. Kinda reminds me of loro stuff but not quite that pricey. Anyway thanks for any info and rest assured I will not be leaving any of their stuff behind in the future.

I got a Paul & shark jacket off shopgoodwill a couple years ago for personal and I like it a lot. Quality is good and has held up well. Aesthetic is like a American prep/ivy with a European twist. Watch out for fakes though, see them float around the thrifts.

OK, you've got my attention there. It was an antique store owner closing the business. So I headed over but was only slated to get there 10m before it started. Usually that means youre like 50th on line and you have no chance at anything thats worthwhile. To my surprise I was 1st on line (WTF!). Doors open, I beeline for them and see theyre the Alzer 80 :

One was unfortunately painted over but im certain can be removed. Anyway, got them for $400 and thats more than fine for me.

They also had a keepall bag but wanted too much for it so I left it and went thrifting. Found some stuff but the sale was close to closing so I called back and asked if they sold it. They said no so I went back. I got the sense there was more than what they were selling so I put the charm/personality on level 12 and asked if they had anything else along the lines of what I was looking for that maybe since I was here and had cash I wanted to spend, they could pull out? Turns out that was a great question.

Keepall Bandoliere 60
large vintage French alligator bag
Prada purple leather pleated clutch
4 Chanel bags including near mint sur pique and quilted flaps
Celine sunglasses (unseen)
Louis Vuitton red epic leather Sabions bag
All $1150 so PPU $127. Not a great PPU on the glasses but ill fuckin take that on the bags all day. Keepall should be close to break even, hopefully.

Now im humming like a goddamn tuning fork. BUT I get a call from my Storage Wars friend who says he cleaned out a locker from a young European gambler who passed away. He said he got maybe 400 pieces of clothes and wanted to move them quick. So I book it back to the store and meet him and grab the stuff. This guy was only 30 when he died so was young, rich, and had easy gambling money. All the pieces were Dolce & Gabbana, Dior Homme, Balenciaga, Prada, Gucci and similar. Some pieces were unfortunately moth damaged as its been sitting for a bit but a few hundred worked. Below some of my greatest hits. The Gucci jacket is N to the ******* A. Probably another 5 Dolce and Gucci velvet smoking jackets that I didnt get pics of. RRL Belts, Gucci shoes, all the trimmings. Only two ties! (Versace). PPU $12

I saw these worthless classical records in the showcase of the Value Village at Keele/Wilson in Toronto. Thought I'd share this since it's a pretty clear sign where things are going. Twenty bucks each--that's what they wanted. I collect classical, and I wouldn't take these for free. To think that thrift store employees are doing flawed popsike searches for classical records is unreal to me.

Edit: And spoo finds a $1,000 jacket for $12...
