Can I get an assist on this? Found this a few weeks ago and @JohnAAG has been super helpful but we cant quite pin it down. Its selvedge, looks like limited edition 1936 Type 1 repro. But im not 100% sure. @Dirt @double00 any thoughts pretty please?

yep. the earlier levis repros included actual 'down-market' models (the '201' jeans being another example), hence the linen patch not cow (i also remember reading that those patches are a degree of fantasy, i'm not sure they have a great record of what was actually printed on those). not sure about the missing red tab but wes nailed pretty much everything else. only thing i might add is the lighter weight denim probably more like a 9 oz very shirt like.

Yeah, I know the pocket moved upward in the late 20s, and the red tab arrived in 1936...so thought maybe it was an interim year.
