My meager contributions...

IT'S A SATCHEL! 😜

I took a flyer on this coach trail bag for $14. It seems real. the leather is like buttah... even nicer than my wife's 1990s USA made coach bags.

I do not see the "coach creed" anywhere. Any chance we're talking early 70s bonnie cashin era? If there was a metal logo emblem, it's long gone.

And a bose soundlink for $7, because our UE Ultimate Boom no longer holds a charge.

I've attached the closest comp of the bag I can find.

Thoughts?

thank you!

yeah, the one seam does not line up on the bottom back edge of the bag... but the rest of the craftsmanship is on point. and the leather is thicker than my wife's lates 80s to 90s coach bags. and she only keeps those bags because they have sentimental value. she just likes baggallini bags for whatever reason.

maybe it was a factory second from the 70s?

thanks for the tip on "leatherware"!

i'm guessing this the attached photo is what USED to be on the bag. looks like it was just glued on?
the backside of the zippers have green brass oxidization. that takes a while to happen, i think?

well, once i come to the conclusion that even though this bag is WAY more "manly" than the actual "man purses" coach sells on their site, i'm too self conscious to actual wear it... so down the road it goes.

probably just list it locally. i don't want to deal with online buyers claiming "it's fake", then try to get a partial refund or whatever.
