I had no idea you can't even see the eclipse without glasses. Reminded me when I was in mexico and they showed me how ancient south americans viewed it through a piece of black onyx.

Wow that’s crazy. Looks like it’s just UK from what I’m seeing. I wonder if they’re trying to drive their clothes-focused competitors (depop, poshmark, vinted, etc) out of business.
Everyone seems to be changing up their fee structures recently, Vinted has had the sellers for buyers only for some time while Vestiaire a few weeks ago shifted from fees for sellers to fees for buyers. I'm sure there's some other website I've missed out on.

Probably the most surprising thing I've seen for a while.

Perfect shade of bone/ecru, leather patch, blue selvedge (which is cool) and some minimal distressing.

From American Eagle. I'm so irked they're not my size, they're mad.

Finally organized and listed most of the ties I'd found in LA. Lots of the Charvet have pulls and damage, which isn't terribly surprising given how delicate their woven silk tends to be.

Funnily enough, my favorite ties ended up being this beautiful chevron tie by Zegna and a couple from Amir in Beverly Hills, which I couldn't find any comps for.

The Amir tie on the left has this really unique effect of reflecting a pattern only under certain lighting. A bit of a novelty for sure, but interesting enough for me to hold on to it for a while. Both are apparently limited editions as well, with the white and gold being LE 4 and 6, respectively.

Other tidbits from other trips.

Canali Exclusive Super 160s. Super lush fabric that sold surprisingly quickly.

Canali Exclusive Super 170s Wool-Silk blend. Likely an orphan jacket, but lovely nonetheless.

Nudie Jeans shirt with a unique stitched fabric that reminds me of some of the Kapital sashiko century stuff I had a while back. I'm sure this isn't sashiko stitching, but I'm not sure how to label this fabric.

Pop on Sandro Paris. Modest check button shirt.

Might post more soon.

Pop on the right "Jil." I can't tell you guys how many times I've been ecstatic to see a j.jill or J. Lindeberg item only to snap back to reality and realize that it's the wrong brand.

Waraire Boswell Bespoke sport coat + others. Waraire's tailoring seems to be pretty popular among NBA players and certain celebrities, so imagine my surprise when I found this jacket and 2 suit jackets (unfortunately orphaned) sitting in a Salvation Army. Color of the week tags, too.

A shame I couldn't find the pants for the two suit jackets, but I figured I could take the plunge given how high the original pricing seems to be for Boswell's suiting. There doesn't seem to be a huge market for these, but hopefully the larger sizing (48R) and the eccentricities of the sport coat (5-button working cuffs? Flap pockets and an opposing bellow pocket?) garner some attention.

Boglioli Shirt

Lastly, does anyone know if green label Polo Ralph Lauren was ever a thing? I found an innocuous polo shirt with a label I hadn't seen before. Some online say vintage, others say fake. Any insight would be appreciated 🙏
