Blows my mind that someone who can afford a $2,000 jacket would spend the time to have a garage sale and unload it for $10. Insane. That backpack is insane! Great Pacific Iron Works is still on my bucket list.
Here’s some stuff from the past couple weeks or so.
Hit a couple good garage sales

Just hanging at the end of a t-shirt rack in a super busy GW, just minding its own business….
Reversible leather/tweed Ralph Lauren Blue Label down vest with game pouch on the back. Badass.

Now that's how you make an entrance to the thread. The first time I find tailored jackets at any second-hand store that are actually close to my size, and they're not just vintage, they're antique. From before even the century before I was born. Never tell me the odds.
Idk why one side is longer than the other. Thats odd. But I can definitely work with this, it shares a color with a sport coat I have so some of the stuff that goes with that will go with this. I've got a black velvet waistcoat that'll really look good with this, and so will the staple black boots, black pants, and white french cuff shirt I was already eventually gonna get. I've even found some starched collars.
Highest armhole on anything I've ever worn.
No, I am not doing the "roman salute". Not on purpose.
This jacket was actually a little too small, so I resolved to sell it to a guy even smaller than I am who is into that kind of antique stuff.
You'll notice the pipings come off, so not in peak condition, and neither was the frock coat, it had a couple of small holes.

The outfit without either jacket. Was going for a Buster Keaton vibe.
On another note, anyone know who this maker is? Anything special? View attachment 2036357
Seems like there was a flurry of these Antonio Maurizi shoes a few years ago. They're one of those mid-tier Italian brands, or off-brands, that build product for the likes of Nordstrom and other haberdashers. They make a big deal about being so-called "artisan" shoes, but I'm not convinced they are fully bench made. Having said that, they're OK-looking shoes, usually with antiqued finishes, but they're slowwwwww movers on the flip, probably because now they've filtered through to Nordstrom Rack etc. and are heavily discounted NIB. I think I might still have a couple pairs stashed away in storage for personal (a supposed future where I actually go back to work-work).On another note, anyone know who this maker is?
