So see the inner chapter ring .
If you turn your crown in the in position you will turn the zero Arrow pip back to the 12 o’clock position .

Impuntara: Do you clean those watches up? Replace glass, polish cases, etc? Or just wear them, scuffs and all?

Hehe.. Funny to see other like minded individuals getting into the same genre of watches to the point where we all have the same watch.

I had a feeling the market would start to appreciate older Seikos, especially the big name models like Pogues.. so I nabbed this early 1970 example last year:

Came as is in the Altoids tin. Non running, SEIKO emblem loose in the case. Someone probably opened the case up to fix the logo, didn't know how to proceed after removing the first 2 screws and gave up. I believe all I have to do is put those screws back in and she'll run, but opening up a watch movement is like opening a can of worms and you best have the tools and knowledge to not screw it up any further.

It's beat up, missing a bracelet and I paid like $300 for it but it's still a great deal considering the way the market is headed.

Mine wasnt running and I wanted to use it - its not a flip, this one - so I sent it to The Seikologist - Frenchy, hes in Canada too FYI. Took about 4 weeks and was priced reasonably at around 500 USD but replaced the crystal, gaskets, full service, and now she is running to +/- 1 second a day. He did fantastic work. @Letric probably the dude who can make yours good again.

Invicta? Gag.

what’s that pilots watch on the bottom? Looks neat! Love Seiko

this Invicta is a Japanese made automatic Pro Diver .
Complete rip off of a Oris but a very very solid watch .
But yeah the Invictas are usually meh

I don’t do anything to watches under 500 that’s my cut off.
I sell 99 percent of them.
If it’s something really really good I will spend money to have it running or what not like I did with a few Omegas etc.
So far this bastard has been keeping time spot on since 1pm

I'm in the club. Got this one a year or two ago for about $30. It's from 1970 based on the serial. Running well when I got it and I replaced the pusher gaskets myself. Wish I had the bracelet.

you have the proof script one those are rarer.
The silver one is the rarest one I think but not the most collected oddly enough ,the yellow one with the proof script is.
