I found this antique Gambler's poker kit at the Goodwill Outlet two weeks ago and was mind blown. It includes a very old deck of cards, bone dice, clay poker chips and a pistol. Yes that's correct a PISTOL! The little gun has maker's marks and the number 85 on it. I can't find any information on it but I was told it shoots .22 short. This is a once in a lifetime find and I had to share it! The goodwill outlet charges $1.59 per pound so I paid just over $4 for this thanks to the weight of the box. Incredible find! GW employees are prob asleep at the wheel but selling what could be a potentially working firearm without dating it as an actual antique is kinda legally shaky. I'm super jealous though and this has to be a super rare thrift find.

Thank. I'm guessing the reason that GW missed it was the fact someone donated so much from this estate. The person who owned this was a collector of poker/gambling stuff. I got a ton of other cool stuff along with this. Some 40s Giant bakelite dice, poker chips etc!

They messed up big time by not finding it. The gun does work! If it was manufactured after 1894 then it's considered a "modern" firearm and doesn't fall under the antique firearms act.

$5 dollar find from yesterday. The puffer was zipped in inside out so both labels were facing each other and only visible if you really looked, hence the price and why it was still on the rack. After doing some research (this is my first true thrift Moncler find) and talking to other guys from the thread, we’re thinking it’s real but old, like late 90s. I know there’s some Moncler experts on here so if anyone wants to chime in I’m all ears. It “feels” lux and well made and seems like a weird style to fake.

These were all from yesterday. One of my craziest finds in a long time. $3.99 in the womens section. Issey Miyake Final Home Survival jacket. 🤯

Also $3.99. Interior chest tag is missing but I recognize that neck tag from a mile away. A couple of small issues, but at that price, no way I was leaving it.

And then this ******* thing. Paid up at $29.99 (compared to the other coats:)) Heavy twill with an alpaca lining. It's in almost mint condition (one small moth nibble on the collar). And it fits!!!

My favorite time of year is when the coats start coming back out! :)
