thats tough. That medusa / logo is one of the most heavily faked pieces of all time. its been on shirts, jackets, sweaters etc. Some from that era (late 90s) were very good actually. I can say ive never seen that zipper on a versace piece, or that particular jacket. That piece would have been made by Ittierre, and would have had the older Ittierre tag on it which was white and probably would have been on the side seam. The size tag would have more than likely been under the versace tag. Im leaning towards excellent copy but without any other tags its pretty hard to say.

That said, even if it is, its certainly very, very salable!
Awesome, thanks! Now it can find its way to the appropriate sales channel instead of sitting in my backlog.

I can’t offer much other than to say that I’ve had that zipper pull at least once or twice. I can’t remember what jacket it was on, but I’ll check. My thought at the time was that it was a replacement from a tailor for a missing zipper pull...a generic replacement. I’ll try to look at what I have.

For almost 8 years I've been posting in this thread and flipping for fun. It wasn't until we moved into our house that I've had the space for proper storage and a photo set up. Step 1 was purchasing a Z-rack that arrived today. Steps 2 and beyond all involve the photography part of the equation. My photography knowledge is zero but thankfully the public library is within walking distance. What you see below are quick and dirty MacGyvered pics.

Almost all fodder.

For me: Ledbury french cuff, BB seersucker, Bills Khakis fleece, Barbour vest

This is better than thrifting. My parents are preparing to downsize and move into their new house in July. This past weekend my dad cleaned out his closet and we loaded my car up with tons of stuff, mostly things I thrifted for him over the years and the rest is from my deceased uncle's closet. All the SCs and sweaters have been posted here but the ties are all new to me. Keeping the Ricci and Kiton.

Couple fodder pick-ups today. Been needing some athletic/outdoorwear for trips this summer. Pop on Prana.

The store that always marks up Patagonia did not research this pair close enough, no waist tag branding, so only $1 from SP02.

Pop on Kavu clothing. These pants are actually pretty rad and older MiUSA.

Congrats on the new space @matty long legs!

Love that you utilize the local library. I wondered if anyone else still went there lol

Love the library. I’m pretty lucky in that I can walk there in under ten minutes and it’s huge and the newest one in the county. In a few weeks I start a job that is 100% remote. I’ll be spending many a summer afternoon on our back porch and the library patio.

Anyone who thinks libraries A) are empty of people and B) contain only books are decades out of date. My local library is regularly full of all kinds of people and has shows, lectures, a VR setup, 3D printers, musical instruments you can borrow, and the list goes on.

Any ideas on the age of the sweater I found today? Here's the tag:

I use the library all the time. I just wish I was better at returning stuff on time.

Didnt you once, maybe 9 years ago, post a picture of you crossing a swamp or creek, maybe walking a dog, in Barbour and maybe breeches?

Back when I lived in England; yeah! Boxing Day hunt, Hadleigh, Suffolk.

It would have been a stream, though, with Dubarry wellington boots. Now sadly all the Dubarry boots tackle is Acqua Alta.
