1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

My boss pulled this picture out from her personal archive, he gave this to her when she picked him up for a show in 1987. Crazy thing is she JUST showed this to me for the first time on Tuesday.

Heard the news about Prince on the radio a little bit ago. Another legend lost. RIP.

On another note, I have no idea what I just bought......

    Guys - GUYS

    This is a good one.

I got this a year or two ago. Never wore it. Just hanging on the tie rack.

It has always baffled me. Did someone sew a Land's End tag on a super nice 7-fold made in Italy tie?

What is this madness? Any ideas?

Lands' End makes some really nice ties. Always think about picking up for myself. Maybe it's not a 7 fold, just missing some stitching?

It's a X-fold for sure... maybe 4 or 6 or 7. But definitely folded, etc.

Found at lunch. This exact tie seems to do pretty well on eBay, but I'll probably keep it.

A buyer convinced me to sell him the Borrelli tie on my mannequin (he bought three suits at once), so I replaced it with a Hilditch & Key tie I found just days before.

Thanks! Him and I have a deal worked out. He distracts everyone by being cute while I grab all the good stuff. ;)

Theoretically it could, but it would probably be more money than it's worth. Unless it's Vicuna that is.

Brioni tux in my size? Sure! I have no reason to buy a tux but if I have to I have to.

So I was at one of @330CK 's favorite GW's here in WPB, and hear some lady cackling like a hen about the Prada she just found. I saunter over to see her holding a pair of men's shoes, and watch her pick up another pair as she screams "Gucci"!!!
I grab the closest pair of men's shoes to her, and lo behold, a first for me:

Dolce & Gabbana, size 10. My size, but I can't really picture myself ever wearing them, so available if anyone wants them. Just got them home so I'll be doing a Renovateur and Creme polish fix to them.

At the checkout line, she's 2 in front of me. Bragging to the cashier so loud about her Prada and Gucci find that the manager comes over, starts asking all these questions (were these on the rack? were they in the yellow cart?) Argh........

So I just missed out on an Italian trifecta of shoes in my size, but I'm happy with the D&G find.

Lol she played herself. Scored 2 pairs of shoes, but lost out on a 3rd cause of her big mouth... then draws staff attention to them? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Nice grab on those D&G's tho.

First couple "mystery poster" tubes opened. Each tube had 3-4 posters in each one and they were $1 per tube. Rolled the dice and bought them all. For $1 each, there had to be at least one or two good ones in there. Right?
