Does this look familiar to anyone?

Dog made of tie silk, many seams sewn by hand. No markings, tags or signs of a tag having been removed, so I'm guessing Ralph Lauren store display? Cool nonetheless and will go in my library...as soon as I get one.

Possibly a store display. Reminds me of the dog I have. Made by a friend of my grandfathers. After he died she made my brother and I these out of one of his shirts.

I saw my first Loro Piana and Zegna labels today. I passed on both. The LP was Tasmanian Hickey Freeman MTM from early 2000s. Not my size, and tagged for more than I wanted to spend, but I'm kind of regretting that and considering picking it up if it's still there tomorrow.

The Zegna (fabric) was with a huge donation of 5-10 MTM suits from a local tailor, all from the early '90s. All hard 3 button, peak lapel, low gorge. I was hoping there would be also donation of high end ties and squares, but there was nothing.

@the2ndhandman that baller Brioni jacket is your thrift karma for sending that insane gift.

The best of the goodness that followed that LP robe:

Actually just found the pants to this "sport coat" I picked up the day before, Caruso for Barneys. The clerk actually gave me a deal when I told him that I had bought the coat to the suit the other day.

Sport Coats/suits ... How much larger than your regular size is appropriate to have my tailor alter? I wear a 40R, and knowing how big I can go will open some options.

How important is full vs half canvas to you for heavier sport jackets?
