IME, Ultra Cleaners does a pretty great job repairing woolens.

Vicuna is expensive to fix correctly, if you send it out specifically ask if they have experience with the fiber

Most have never touched it - my preference is finding someone who is older...

Yikes.

I have someone fantastic , but you'll have a sore wallet for a while because it's a blended content...they have to pull threads in an equal ratio and it depends on the type of damage, where it's located and how stretched out the hole is -

I agree on ultra, I've sent cashmere Blazers there to great results -

Not much else since the new year. Picked up a Patagonia flannel and polo, and Icebreaker wool flannel.
Passed on super beat up Etro (holes) and Oxxford (stains, ripped up buttonholes) jackets.

Can't wait to visit the bay again in Feb and thrift up there.
