Hey guys, can I get a legit check on this Mont Blanc? Leather seems nice, stitching is decent, interior is meh, tag looks weird, and no country of origin on the interior. It's returnable so I'm not sweating.

Crockett and jones dartmouths prettymuch unworn but with some waterstains:( 2$ so who cares:)

Crockett and jones week! These are Hallams and seems to berather unworn also. Strange thing, the footbed padding is missing! Which means I got them cheap.

PM sent regarding these 2 pairs. What size are they?

This question has come up every once and a while but fun to revisit:

What was your worst pass?

This is probably mine...passed at the time because I thought it felt too short to me (when in reality this is perfect). Vintage horsehide, don't know the maker but it was bulletproof. $25. Went back three days later and it was gone.

Worst pass? Potentially... a really expensive watch.

Looked at it.... it felt ******. Looked ******.

Was in the same store a day later, and overheard one of the cashiers telling another customer that someone bought a watch yesterday, and came back and said they pawned it for $6,000.

No idea if true or not.

But :fu:

I can honestly say I have no bad passes. Ive always erred on the side of Kop now, ask questions later.

But near misses, I can clearly remember walking into a store, grabbing my cart and seeing some tall hipster looking lanky dude walking out. We locked eyes, then he did an immediate pivot, ran back to the coat rack, and darted for this leather moto jacket and scooted right to the cashier and paid. I have no idea what it was but that will always piss me off not knowing what that was.

A huntsman three piece pow check suit for 79.99 at a goodwill boutique. That was when I was very new to thrifting (having had one ebay sale to my name at the time) but I still knew Savile row. Just balked at the price.
