July has sucked thrift-wise, but I'll soon be back with some proper photos. Meanwhile, does someone recognise this? It has no label or visible branding. I just want to make sure I won't be putting a vintage Gaultier runway piece up for $25 BIN. I normally don't fux with women's wear, but this one I had to get.
This is the kind of stuff that makes me wish I were a lady...

Glad you got em. This style is super desirable. You scored on these.

Looks like civilian-market woodland camo on HBT fabric. Really weird, as I've never seen this before. The woodland pattern evolved from the transitional pattern of the late 70's and started in 1981/82.
Yea I can't find anything close to it, Selvedge everywhere, HBT, no idea how it came about but it's pretty sweet

Still just wanted to find some patagonia baggies. Went to like 5-6 thrifts. Did find some random stuff per usual, about $20 total. Passed on a few things, some animal pressed pleats into japanese slevedge denim, could have probably washed it out but oh well.
  • Made in Portugal Zara shirt, was on the fence about this but for $3 figured it's worth a shot. I've always been impressed with Portugal stuff made.
  • Smart Wool Merino Button Down
  • JLindberg Polo, super soft, arms too small for me.
  • Mollusk, cool so cal lightweight flannel. Surprised to see this brand.
  • Bonobos Selvedge
  • Levis 501 CT

^^^^Nope.

Edit: The hipster resale shops around here do the same thing, only worse. I've seen garbage made in China Doc's priced at upwards of $65. If you wait long enough, some of the good English made ones will pop up for a fraction of the price. The "true" thrifts around here usually price them at a few bucks, YMMV.

Thanks! I passed, I probably would have bought them if they were my size and not that color.

@Nataku @Pierson v Post Can you help me with anything besides "Green army pants" on the pants? :) Are they really from 1951? Any value?

@SpooPoker

Those look like Korean-era field trousers (M1951). Not super desirable, but cool anyhow. I left a pair a few weeks ago because they were massive.

Poplin and ERDL Vietnam trousers and some WWII-era stuff are the more desirable pants. Korean stuff in general doesn't seem to do that great.

Super dope frames

And... how did I do? All of these have the correct stitching in the old school method, and are all made in the US. Some are Hanes, some Fruit of the Look, and some are Screen Stars Best.

Leisure it's 100 percent walnut as I said. I have had that set. Teak would have a different feel to it.
Yes weight is usually a tell but those chairs are basically just frames once the pillows are off so they are light in walnut as well.
Take it to the bank its walnut.
Whenever I'm selling MCM that isn't teak I always include the phrase would go great with a teak mcm decor to get eyeballs.

A few gems from the week, didn't get out much.

Dirty SF suede

Mashburn and Rugby RL khakis

Rugby RL Indian Madras shirt

and the biggest find in a long time, a silk Stefano Ricci shirt, Large. Rarely go to this GW, it was 50% and about to age out LOL. Not sure I want to list this one myself.
