Try calling some of the stores. If you do locate a pair, the price should be reduced by another 30%. I did that after they were sold out online and was lucky enough to score a pair for $93.80.

Nice! The Sacramento's are my go to jeans. They by far get the most wear for me. I wore them today with my new blanket lined flannel.

FYI for those of you who have the brown Clyde chinos, I decided to wash mine to get any potential shrinkage out of the way, and to have them look less new. I washed gently in cold water, hung to dry, and they did not shrink. I did pull on the legs while wet to mitigate any potential shrinkage. One thing to note though is that these pants have a ton of starch in the fabric, and after going through the wash, they looked like they almost had salt stains on them. I think someone earlier in this thread thought his pants looked like they were sandpapered after washing. It's just the starch pooling in certain areas after getting wet. I put them through the wash again and while it's still there in some spots, it has been reduced and looks more even. I'll wear them for some time now and then wash them again eventually. I expect by then it will be mostly gone.

I also washed my Jaspé trousers for the same reason, and they didn't seem to shrink either, using the same method of washing. I like how they look post-wash, as they have a bit more texture.

I went with a size 31 waist and probably could have sized down to a size 30 on these pants to get a trimmer fit. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I always have bought my Japanese denim in size 31 from Blue in Green, and that's always been fine. I have roughly a natural size 32 waist, but it all depends on where the waist falls depending on the rise.

I'm ok with not having a super snug waist on these pants since the rest of the fit is fine, and looks a bit more vintage. They are not sloppy, but if I wear them and they stretch too much, I can have the waist and seat taken in by a tailor eventually. I guess we'll see.

FWIW, I've had a similar thing happen to me after soaking unsanforized denim. I've found it usually goes away after wearing them a few times, although I would think another soak or wash would probably take care of it as well.

Well crap, that was my favorite fit. Think any stores might still have some rigid or one washes left? My one pair of rigids are 7 years old, and about done, would like to start on a new pair.

I had imagined a thinner material and brighter colors than what it actually is/looks like. Like I said, pleasantly surprised it was meaty and with more contrast than the picture suggested to me.

Agreed. I've altered mine within an inch of their lives but now they're darn near perfect. I always look for new washes each season though I don't know if I'll ever find one that I like quite as much.

Grabbed some NWT Slim Straights from eBay. tagged 32 length, but measured right at 34. Gave them a hot wash and a few minutes in the dryer

Shrunk up to an almost perfect 32.25", and I don't think the dryer softened them up too much....

I have thick thighs on account of squatting a lot in the gym so skinny jeans will probably not fit me. I ordered a pair of straight white RRLs (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C6AJ1JI) from amazon because they were heavily discounted ($89.99 at that time) to try out a fit. These give me around 0.5 inches of breathing room in the thighs but very loose and baggy around the calves.
Which fit would work better? There is a fit called low straight but I can't find detailed measurements

I checked the Spring line and to date there are 2 pairs of trousers with riveted (metal) buttons—the Herringbone Utility Trouser and Pincheck Carpenter Pant.

Two more with rivets from the Fall line—Rummell Corduroy Officer's Pants in Anchorage Brown and the Clyde Cotton Twill Trouser in Carhartt Brown.
