While I like the small business vibe of snake oil provisions, these rios / RRL black roughout suedes are too much at $990 —

Yeah, I bought a pair of Rios ropers for under $600, so not sure why the RRL/SOP connection warrant the almost $400 upcharge.

Saw those too. Shaft seemed on the shorter side. Is that the trend?

Yes it’s an extra 30% on top of the sale price. You need the code from the “best of summer sales event starts now” email.

this makes me feel like last year when there was an issue in the private sale email link so you could get 30% on top of the 30% of the sale but it was no code just everything was a lot cheaper

I found my email code, but the list of things I want with sizes still available is pretty narrow. Anyone absolutely thrilled with a sale pick up that they feel should not be missed?

I am thinking they probably aren't selvedge, since they've done the zip fly on their non-selvedge jeans pretty much forever.
This is probably the case. It is a Japanese denim with pretty good weight, so I am surprised they didn't just finish the job with selvedge and button fly...

Has anyone seen this in person and have any thoughts regarding fit, quality, feel? Looks pretty enticing with the extra 30% off.

I bought one for my wife, it’s a very light and boxy fit, but I’d honestly say to size up one, or lean towards larger size if you’re in between. I’m usually a M/L in all my RRL, and this M is def too small for me. Color is true to pictures, shanks are nice and it’s a good piece overall
