Is the black on black raw or rinsed? What exactly does black on black mean? I recently bought a pair but can't figure it out...

The black on blacks are one rinsed. Although the baking/drying process they put them thru after the wash seems to have made them a bit crunchier (which I like IMO) than other one rinse I've bought.

Black on black means the warp AND weft are both dyed black, as opposed to most other jeans that just dye one. This gives the jeans a SUPER jet black look, which again I love. I bought the RRL black on blacks this week and have been wearing them ever since. Thanks to Robert from RL Chi-town :D

I returned something by fedex and it's been a month and a half with no refund. Needless to say we will see how it turns out, but i'm getting my credit card company involved.

Sounds like a web order. I had a similar experience. I don't recall how long it took, but it was of long enough duration that I was concerned something had gone wrong. It did eventually post and my card was refunded so all's well that end's well. However, it wasn't what I expected since they do everything else to simplify the returns process only to have it hang up somewhere when it gets back to them. I can understand your frustration.

Create a Bundlebox account and then it becomes your delivery address in the USA and the Bundlebox company then ships the items to whichever country you desire.

Score! As with much RRL your chukkas look better in person then online. Speaking of has anyone else noticed the improved viewer RRL is using? You can blow up to full screen then zoom in....helpful.

P.S. Putting in my order this weekend and will post what after completed.

It fits perfectly*, I'm hoping it loosens up a little, or should i size to the 30x32, no 29x32 were in stock when I bought these, would've preferred that I think...

*Loss of blood flow when bending knees is a side effect. Not being able to tug something in as well.

looking at all the boots; powel, bowery and washington - it would not surprise me if they were made for RRL by wolverine.

Any have the 1000 mile boots to compare the fit / last used?
