Many new items on the EU website. I assume the summer collection.
They’ve always done a lot of distressed/repaired stuff but they’ve really gone all in this year. Also first time I’ve seen RRL socks. 😐
At least not distressed socks.

Just picked up this limited edition olive selvedge. Is it normal for the cinch belt hardware to show up with rust? What's a good suspender to go with it as I think it's odd to use a regular belt with the cinch. Thanks.

I have a pair of buckle backs that came with rusted hardware like that. It's called patina and you usually have to pay extra for it.

I don't have any repaired stuff. I generally don't like it because the repairs are always obviously & over-the-top fake. However, I do dig the "Repaired Linen-Cotton Popover Shirt". Love the color and the repairs are subtle enough. Not at 295 euros though. Maybe at 180 - 200. And that's probably overpriced as well.

When my gambler jacket was a couple years old I remember bit feeling kind of dry. I hit it up with some old formula Lexol conditioner. I’ve not conditioned it since.

That's a beautiful jacket!

Another leather-care related question: do you use waterproofing sprays, or is that also (generally) unnecessary? If you do use it, I'd appreciate a product recommendation :D.

I sometimes use protective spay on suede shoes but generally don’t bother. I have sprayed suede jackets in the past but just don’t bother now. I’ve used Tarrago Nano spray. Don’t know how well it protects but most importantly it doesn’t discolor the suede.
Does the back clinch really work (given how “hard” denim can get), or more just aesthetic
I think it’s almost all aesthetic on pants unless they’re fairly loose. On jackets they work but even that is mostly aesthetic.

I mean, they're functioning but tbh, I've never even thought to adjust them from how they arrive in store. Sometimes they are guilty of a little overkill, since I have "work" pants from prior years with the back cinch, suspender buttons, and belt loops lol

Thanks, appreciate the info! I think I'll leave my jackets be for the time being, probably best to do as little as possible :).

It is kind of funny they have cinch + belt loops+suspender buttons.

I’ve been removing sewn on suspender buttons lately. Haven’t got out the dremel to remove the stud type ones although I’ve thought about it.

I'm with you on generally not liking the "repaired" items for the same reasons but like the looks of that one too. I wish it didn't have the band collar though, I've just never been a fan. To me, those shirts end up looking like pajamas, and being a blue/white striped popover isn't helping it look any less pajama-y.

For those in the UK, I popped into Bicester Village and they just got a whole bunch of RRL stuff in that they’re putting out today/ tomorrow . I got some officer chinos for £60.

This jacket was there for about £350 I think. Retail seems to be 1.2k here in UK

And this shirt was on sale for £250 ish

Those can be removed fairly easily with pliers, as I have come to discover. I have found that the stud variety can dig into my hips when I'm sitting, especially when wearing a belt, so those were the first to go!

I agree with them looking like pajamas, but I don't mind in this case. Probably a very lightweight comfy shirt for the warmer months :)
