Now looking at the pics I have to say definitely the Belgian loafers. If you need to stay more on the formal side and safe the black grenadine since you have a subtle pattern suit already. If you can have fun a little more one of the two patterned ties in the first pic. You already have a tonal combo going so you could continue that or like @smittycl said go for the gold with blue dots for party vibe. I doubt you can go wrong really.

I can't picture the Belgians looking better than the brown suede. I know its a cocktail gig but its daytime right?? Is it?

All this talk and pictures of black suede loafers has me jonesing for some black suede loafers...
I own dark brown suede and snuff suede loafers but not black. Sounds great for casual evening wear.

I love suede! I just got the black ones a few weeks ago during the Carmina sale.

It's Die Workwear's (Derek) Summer Tweed. He ran a few batches and a lot of us bought the fabric. NMWA also sold some tailoring using it I think. Set up an eBay search for it and it pops up occasionally, especially at LuxeSwap.

ive got a jacket in that fabric and really like it. It’s versatile and compliments pretty much every time I wear it. Derek certainly takes **** in some weird directions (and I had no idea wtf isarti was until I read this thread), but that’s solid fabric.

Be careful of the gators. Every lake in Florida has them. Don't want to loose your pup.
All good. I grew up here so I am aware. We are on a semi private lake which regularly gets purged of any gators that want to setup shop.

Thanks for head up though since many other people are oblivious to florida wildlife.

Question for the folks in DC. Planning to bring my kids ( 9 and 11, who are into tennis) to watch the Citi Open tennis. Want to make it a long weekend trip ( Friday through Sunday). Any tips about hotels, parking, and anything which will make the trip memorable.

Fitzgerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park.
Interesting, I’d stay in the nw quadrant for sure then, maybe Georgetown or Adams Morgan, then Uber to the venue.

Depends if you want to be closer to the venue or DC. I think you’ll probably have to Uber to the venue regardless, bc that area can get rough. I wouldn’t stay in walking distance.
