I rarely drink beer now because of the carbonationI think I'm getting too old for any of it. Screws with my sleep. Oy.
Pattern looks fine, classic plaid. Fabric looks heavy, though. Winter only?Thoughts on this jacket. Is it too dated? It was such a cool pattern and color combination that for the price I had to gamble on it. @Purplelabel this is the one from the thrift thread.
Don’t mind the stache. Mostly playing around and not sure if I will let it actually grow out properly.

Yeah I was too rushed to get more shots. That looks better on to be honest!
Do you mean the sides of the jacket or the quarters below the buttons? Might be something to do with the construction being a bit more structured? I couldn’t tell you.In what ways is that dated? Because it doesn't look like something from the armoury? My only complaint (being probably the least-cm/most-swd guy in this thread) is that the skirt looks like it's flaring a bit, which is unnoticeable to normal people and I imagine would rest a little bit.
Stache demands a high stance three button suit, maybe with a side of a kepi hat and strong opinions on the stature of Alfred Dreyfuss.
That is a fall/winter jacket given the texture and color scheme.Yeah I was too rushed to get more shots.
@smittycl It doesn’t feel that thick to me and it is half lined so likely not winter only. My donegal tweed and gunclub tweed are thicker. No fabric tag to be sure but it is decently soft too.
Maybe slightly which is not unusual for me. This is with just a tshirt on. I fluctuate between 1-3 lbs on a weekly basis typically in this area. I do not want this too trim because I do wear lightweight to medium weight sweaters in the fall and winter under jackets.try and get some clean back shots. I think it may need a slight tuck to make it less bean bag shaped.
