I saw stuff on Twitter immediately after it happened. It's so sad. I hope the people who were injured recover and hope that the business can rebuild.

It looks interesting not sure if they'll be successful attracting people to a basement. I did used to go while it was Church Hall and it definitely became a college bar on weekends. Poor co-eds will have to settle with one of the Takoda locations or Tombs.

Gents, hate to rehash @dc_slicker’s quest for black tie rig, but was just invited to a black tie wedding this winter (NYE to be precise) I have a MTM two piece on my project list for next year, and have just decided to move it up to this fall. I’ve already been in touch with the team at No Man who have my measurements on file. There’s plenty of time to get that done before the event.
Thinking shawl collar, single breasted, single pleated trousers.
im open to suggestions on fabric, details etc.

for the rest, I’m thinking:
proper cloth for shirt?? Open to suggestions here.
I have nice smoked MOP cuff links so I’ll look for a stud set that is similar (eBay?)

Really cool! I think the shirt is somewhat irrelevant as folks notice that it’s either a formal shirt or it isn’t, with little in between. Mine is Hickey Freeman but whatev, right?

Bogart totally killed it in the Shawl Collar DB. Pics are a white jacket of course, but you could rock a black DB in shawl.

Try Michael Jondral for cuff links. Barring that Brooks Brothers always reliable for cummerbunds and cuff links.
