Was mucking about on the SWD side and someone pointed out this site. Stellar stuff. The usual major brands but also serious deals on Lardini, Caruso, Gran Sasso, Finamore and others that are a bit hard to find here.

I was in a nice double-breasted hopsack at Bresca on Saturday and some dingus behind us was in shorts and birkenstocks. :\

Sure it's a casual spot, bistro-esque....but the place *IS* Michelin rated so at least maybe wear actual pants? IDK maybe i'm a twit. Or another vowel in place of it. Whatever.

The site has been around. If you search this forum, not everyone here has had a great experience with the website. I have been hesitant to use it.

I just ordered a linen polo shirt from Caruso yesterday and will report back.

I totally don't need this but I love it. Someone please buy it in 52 before I do...

I want to try Finamore shirts, but like many Italian brands they are only sized by the neck and I expect the sleeves will be long, requiring alteration.

Does anyone have alteration tailor recommendations on the Virginia side, preferably Arlington or Alexandria? I'd prefer not to pay a lot, since I have many shirts needing to be shortened.

I have several Finamore shirts in 16.5/42 and the sleeve length seems around 36 and works fine for me. No idea on VA tailors.

Luis Tailoring on Henry Street in Old Town Alexandria. Been going to him since June 2015. I'm a satisfied customer.

I've gone to Kim's Custom Tailoring in Springfield for trouser hemming and jacket sleeve shortening. The work was fine.

Who knew I needed Seersucker easy pants? Every time I say I'm clothing-sated Fox Bros. pulls me back in!

Thanks for sharing. Adding the Peking Duck joint to my must-try list.

In other news, I am in the midst of planning venues and wardrobe for this weekend in VA Wine country. We are renting a cabin near Luray, and plan to hit a couple wineries near Front Royal, and Sperryville, with a visit to the new (ish) beer garden in Sperryville.

Weather looks great for layers, so I am thinking a couple shirts, an over shirt or two, jeans, Indy boots....

I’ve heard Incheon is great but have only been to Ruthie’s which skews heavy but is fantastic.
