Really? I find the double zip quite hideous, maybe it's all that excess white thread. And for boots of that price they could at least bevel the sole, or cover up the channels. The derbies, however, are quite good...

other than archive no one carries the type of brands we speak of here, but there are some cool stores:
unionmade (alden, sns, golden bear)
acrimony (wing and horns, geller, pitman bros type of )
self-edge (jeans mostly)

downtown(store) closed months ago... the others you mentioned are not bad to visit...

i'd say go to hayes valley, downtown sf, and explore the mission for lots of good food and shops
