What about MMM, RAF, KVA, etc? Or you are talking about artisanal stuff only?

for the sake of not cluttering the thread lets stick to artisanal there is a thread for sneaks as well...
imo any of above are cool but i feel that sneaks shouldn't be invested heavily into unless you can maintain them like the RO or a1923

Received the M.A+ fold derby, feels like the 42 is a bit big but might just be the upturned toe? I mean it is still comfortable and my feet doesn't slip once the laces are tied and I also placed an insole in there and it made it better but it does seem long still but it might just be me not being used to the toe?

Opinions? Haven't really seen much fit pics for comparison.

Opinions on fit? Suppose to be a bit long with room on the toe?

i think they look fine but i'd need to see a full body shot to gauge the proportions of shoe to body...

i'm a US 9 all around, 41 in CPs.

do the derbies fit tts (UK8?) or should I size down?

I'm pretty sure like all Ann D's footwear they fit around 1/2 size big at least that's how I sized with her sneakers.

How do you guys care for cordovan cont? Already broke them in the snow. Applied some saphir on the sole but I tested a small section of the upper and the nap seems to get flattened by the product

don't apply cream to reverse leather. saphir makes a waterproofer (invulner) and also a suede spray to condition suede. they are difficult to obtain outside on europe without paying a significant premium (hangerproject has a 100% markup over european retailers) due to the aerosol container (cannot be shipped overseas).

allen edmonds works as well.

you can use a suede brush to restore the nap
