Yes, these are special make-ups for Hong Kong. As far as I know, these shoes are not available elsewhere. If you're interested, please send me an email ([email protected]) and I'll check to see if we still have your size as they have been very well received. Please note that this shoe is in the Van last.

Are you sure that this is email is up2date? I wrote you 3 emails in the last 2 weeks asking about some Boots you pictured at @twitter and havn´t got an answer yet.
Well, I´ll give it a try one more time.

Apolgies in advance if this question has already been answered.

I'm looking for an Alden Chukka boot for everyday use, so I was originally looking for some kind of rubber sole. I found the dark brown chukka at Alden of Carmel with a commando sole, which looks a bit clunky. Next best thing seems to be the Cognac Chukka with the Flex Welt sole at Leather Soul. Can anyone who wears the flex welt sole tell me how comfortable they find it to be?

I have a pair of double leather soled Aldens and while I love those shoes I'm looking for something more comfortable in this pair. Also how does the flex welt sole hold up compared to the commando?

Thanks for the advice.

Does anyone know who does a mafoofanesque #8 Shell Longwing on a single sole, preferably on a single sole or flex welt? Would a cordovan shoe look dressy enough for a suit on a flex welt? Barrie Last preferred.

Nobody does anything similar to foof's longwings.

I've seen cordovan paired up with the flex welt before, but it didn't seem right.

That's not the worst thing that can happen to someone.

For the record, very pleased with the sizing on my whiskey LWB. Super comfortable and beautiful shoes. Good advice on the 8.5E.
