Discussed before, but still amuses me...people should not label anything as "mint", "like new", etc. when clearly "used" to any degree.

Totally agree. "like new," to me, means that you bought them, maybe tried them on, and that's about it. Anything more and its been worn, and it is now used. Used once is still used.

^ After posting my comment, I deleted because I have an Epaulet shoe listed that has some minor shop wear (but was sold as new). Worn on the streets is different though, and eBay/PayPal (like Amazon) will refund almost anything if a buyer complains now, so just be careful on the details.

Just grabbed CXL LHS in my size from Leather Soul... I was looking for a casual loafer for the spring, really happy I was able to get them.

I may be selling some cigar LHS soon and replacing them with color 8

How often does Alden release new colors? Specifically their chukka. Right now they have #8 and black in shell, but I'm digging cigar and whiskey. Maybe just bc of the names.

blasphemy to bring it up in the thread, but if patience is not a virtue of yours, you could entertain an MTO Dundee from AE or possibly something from Carmina

other than that, I do not believe anyone is stocking cigar or whiskey. ebay is always your best bet at that point. I'll gladly buy through there IF NBIB or at a healthy discount

Here is a crazy question.. How do you guys stop buying Alden's. While I love Alden's I also love the deal. I just bought 4 pairs last month.
Tres bien reverse tobacco Indy , ptb natty on crepe, natty chukka jcrew, snuff suede Dover ... I have these plus jcrew 405, 404, 401.. Jcrew natty cap toe boot, jcrew cordovan cap toe boot, jcrew suede lwb, jcrew scotch grain lwb, jcrew snuff plain toe boot. Jcrew tobacco plain toe boot. Now I want to buy the need supply Indy and the leffot greenwhich... I seriously think I have a problem... How do you guys stop or contain yourself to pass on deals or say hey I won't wear those much. I make sure I rotate thru each pair as long as the weather doesn't affect anything.

unsubscribe from email lists. stop visiting this thread and ebay. put some miles on the shoes you have and enjoy them.
