1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

While I like the green, I would go with snuff and chocolate if I were to get two. If I could only have one, I'd snag the snuff... it's too great a casual color and material especially in suede for a boot.

    Just MHO though...

I've said it before but, very underrated boot. Virtually indusctrucible, super comfortable.

The horrid creasing!!! I don't know how you will sleep tonight! Just joking... Still looking great!

Looking good @loanshark , but they could use some horse hair time! :)

Don, you are killing those snuff slippers! Looking superb!

    Thats some nice Suede.

You live in the wrong part of California, because its not raining down here! But at least you are well prepared! Enjoy your Indys!

Nice LWBs and Socks! Enjoy them!

Saz, thank you for sharing! Those are magnificent!!! :)

That is some intense carpet. The separation down the middle is pretty wicked. Nice Indys as well, they have a nice Patina for sure.

    "Oh, crap," says my wallet.

How close really is the 9E Barrie to the 9.5D? Please let the answer be "not very" . . .

They are identical. I don't even know why they list them as different sizes.

    j/k. I have no idea.

Still thinking hard about those chamois captoes from yesterday. I don't have any experience with the Plaza last but am still tempted to pull the trigger. I've been looking for some plain brown bluchers and the PTB's just seem too chunky to me.

I know color 2 is extremely rare, and that thread participants own and like the shoe, but that longwing seems like it would be difficult to wear. Relative to the actual wear you would get out of that shoe, the cost seems really high. It's more of a collector's item to me.

^^ Color #2 is no more or less a clown color than ruby shell that Carmina sells.
In all actuality, it is likely the exact same leather with a different finish on it.
I for one love the ruby color, and would find myself wearing the Color 2 if I had it.
If I were building that LWB, I would have finished it and applied an antique edge to make it more wearable, but ... I would still get wear out of the AoC design.
