No worries -- I remember someone telling me about the plaza one and I thought that it was odd that he'd run such a similar boot in the same leather just a year or two apart. I had the Barrie version. Lovely boot, just didn't fit right.

Adam always has terrific exotic shell makeups -- his preference for leather soles and all eyelets (on boots) was something I really appreciated. Yenni used to do that, too (she learned it from Adam, I think) but recently has started branching out more. But to me, leather soles on exotic shell are just perfect.

Speaking of which -- a new arrival that I have been very anxiously awaiting -- a Barrie Color 4 wingtip boot on double oak leather soles.

They are from AoC. Adam ran a cigar perf cap toe boot on Barrie (D7825) in late 2017, and then did one on Plaza with slightly different specs (D9802).

There are guys on the forum here who got them directly from Adam, they can chime in to confirm.

I’ve got the AoC Plaza pair. Nice boots. I felt the storm welt was odd with a 270 heel, but it works.

Were these TSM? I remember getting an email about them awhile back. Very nice. I had to pass and I'm hoping for some ravello anything from them.

no. TSM did a color 4 wingtip boot with 9 brass eyelets and waterloc soles. I actually have those too.

Oh wow. Thanks for posting the comparison. Beautiful shades on both boots! The TSM almost look ravello-like compared to the SF ones. Hoping my color 4 jumper comes out like either of those!
