I think v-tips, wingtips, and u-tips look pretty good on Modified. Anything with a cap, not so much. Just makes it look even wider than it already is and highlights how "crooked" the last looks from above.

I like the Modified last and 379x, find them very comfortable

Navy Reverse Chamois Indy’s from Leffot this evening. Love these boots and feel fortunate to own a pair as it’s too bad they have discontinued the leather.

I have been on a journey for about 18 months to find the perfect, or at least best, fitting last and sizes.

Have you worn Alden boots ? With regards to fit challenges, having 9 eyelets such as the Alden Indy Boot makes the footwear much easier to fit well on a foot than does low cut footwear. For example common fitting issues such as too roomy of a heel, and, or, a bit too long of length may be minimized and, or, eliminated when one goes from a low cut model to a boot model.

The eyelets are actually brass and the moc toe stitching is gold.
