I don't find the fit to be any different from the LWB, TBH. They do feel lighter and somewhat more flexible, but that may be due more to the fact that my LWBs are on Commando soles (they're the D5512C from Moulded Shoe), and these are on single Waterloc.Always been intrigued. How does the feel compare to the standard lined PTB? Do you find that separate quarters make the fit any different ? Better or worse? Ans never owned any unlined she'll. Do they feel much lighter and more flexible?
I would say if you have a lower instep, try 8D. Otherwise 8.5D.How do people size the 379x Military last? FWIW, I can't find a comfortable Barrie size, so comparisons to Barrie don't really help me.
I wear:
8D in Trubalance
8.5D Hampton
8.5D Plaza
8.5D Grant
Mine feel a lot more snug than my LWB in same size, but not a bad snug. Love them.I don't find the fit to be any different from the LWB, TBH.
