Question for the thread, are any of you fans of the Plantation crepe sole? I have a few pair on that sole and find I don't wear them very often and was just wondering what people thought about it.

Like crepe sole for its comfortness, but have to admit theres a bunch of disadvantages from other perspectives.

Crepe is a little squishy under foot. I can live with, but man does it look dingy quick!

Ready for their maiden voyage. These fit so much better than by Grant PCT from TSM. Not sure if these were made tighter or the PCTs were made looser, but definitely difference in fit. Not huge but it's there. The other are a 270 welt but that shouldn't make a difference.

Anywho wasting no time getting these on the road.

Those of you that are sun fading, do you do anything special before you put them out? Thinking about trying it out in some PTBs I have. Arizona sun should make quick work of it!

I usually take out the laces, give them a good brushing and make sure they don't feel dry (if they do I'll hit them with bick4). I try to prop the tongues up so they get sun as well.

Big fan actually and the red brick as well. If nothing else because they're different.
