These have supplanted my Plaza Indys as my favorite Aldens. In terms of fit and aesthetics, Grant is my favorite last for boots.

The Brooks Brothers snuff tassel moccasins arrived today. Now I know they’re nothing too special to most of you, but they’re the second pair of Aldens I’ve had in my possession, so it’s pretty exciting to me. Apparently these were made in April 2016. I bet they’re hoping I don’t send them back. I used a promo code and got these for less than seconds prices but then got smacked with 10% tax which put them slightly over.

Pictures with my nauseating office carpet.

From a quality perspective they are pretty good. Minor issue with the apron stitching which could be easily forgotten. The nap of the suede is inconsistent between shoes but only marginally so. Overall I’d say no big deal.

While I’m in love with the looks of the shoe and the price I paid, the City Mocc keeps haunting me. Oh well, this is part of the fun, isn’t it?

Probably my all-time favorite pair Aldens (including exotics). I think the Grant and Aberdeen lasts make the best looking boots. I do wish mine would start to lighten up some and start to show classic color 8 highs and lows.

Those are keepers! Don’t question it, they look fantastic and you say you like the fit, a deal like the one you got is not going to come along again. Wear them in good health!
