Alden SF Ravello LWB today:

A few weeks ago I picked-up these shoes, mostly out of curiosity, as they seemed to combine shell and grain together... an uncommon make-up.









It was suggested that I contact Alden and see what they thought. So I did. I emailed Alden, and they responded requesting some additional pics of the shoe lining, and this morning they responded that the shoes were a special make-up and they are alpine grain and #8 cordovan, Barrie last, long wing.

I wouldn't have guessed #8, thought maybe a Ravello, but the mystery is solved.

Incredible score; they are beautiful... enjoy them often my friend!

Pretty sure that is an Adam Knott add-in, though I could be wrong. Funny that it comes in at least 4 languages!
