Well, it *is* called a "Loafer" jacket. :)

As it is a cooler weather piece I plan on wearing it buttoned part of the time. The medium definitely pulled at the chest in an unflattering way. That said, if the large proves to be too large I'll see about exchanging. On the train back home now happy I pulled the trigger.

Also fell in love with this double breasted melton wool number.

Though the collar may be a bit too swanky for me.

Haven't seen these before:

Or the long version.

And once again I can't say how awesome the folks are who work there. Went out of their way to help me (after hours, even) after I forgot an irreplaceable item (in my post-kop stupor) and I was able to evade catastrophe and catch my train back with minutes to spare.

Not your average fashion house, I have to say.

And if anybody is still looking for the rebuild flannels in the overdyed colors they have a couple in large (not sure what they would actually translate to) and a ribbon one (couldn't remember the size or prices).

I couldn't button it. I'll live with the large for a day and maybe exchange.

I've had surprisingly good luck shrinking wool clothing in the washer, including 2 EG pieces (CPO and painter pants) when I've been between sizes. I wash on warm then try on, if it's still a bit big into the dryer, checking every 10 minutes or so. It does require a bit of a leap of faith though...

Thanks for the tip but I'm not sure I have enough faith in that working out. Probably would rather get the medium and diet. :)

Pic of the large buttoned.

Was the ribbon cut one of the over dyed ones? Nowhere seemed to get them in this season.

It wasn't as overdyed as the seven cut but it was subtler than some. I think that's it peeking out in front of the herringbone. Not 100% though. Give em a shout.
