Federer just got out the steamroller...

Monfils is in shambles mentally.

Federer goes through.

Robredo vs Del Potro

If I recall correctly, Federer can take both down. I remember when Federer played Del Potro a couple of months ago. Del Potro was in no shape ready for Federer's game and looked like Federer's practice target.

Federer vs. del Potro
Soderling vs. Gonzalez

I remember watching del Potro win the Legg Mason Classic in 2008 (his fourth title in as many tournaments!)... even though he's #5 in the world, he's going down against Federer...

I find him really funny. He's like Sonic out there on the court. It's a pity because I think he's one of the more talented players that should receive more recognition (his injuries prevent this).

He is so gifted athletically. What he needs to do is learn how to construct points better. His shot selection can be ridiculous at times.

Oh SNAP! The Soderling-Gonzo match is pretty crazy. Soderling is up 2 sets to 1 and both of their winners/errors ratios are out of this world.

Soderling- 61/27
Gonzo- 55/21

As for Monfils, he seems to have a very low tennis IQ. But at least that can be fixed. Being a retriever with no tactical sense is the worst.

For the women, this is going to be a really interesting finals. Battle of the two choke artists. I don't really expect a high quality match, but I think it will be riveting. Probably the first 3 set final in quite some time, with Safina coming out on top. But I really don't know; you've got to give Kutznetsova a lot of props for actually pulling it out against Serena. I thought she was finished when it reached the third.

The Fed Express is back on track: He has won eight out of the last nine games and is up 2-0 in the fifth set.
