Thanks for the photos.

Chris's work looks really nice. To my eye, it looks quite relaxed.

I've been in many tailoring premises across England and Italy and I've never seen one so neat and organised like this. There's something pretty cool about that!

No problem--my pleasure.

And it is a very nice space. Very comfortable. And it is relaxed, but the coats are definitely shapely, in a very good way. From what I have seen, his garments are very aesthetically pleasing.

It was very, very difficult to select such a comparatively plain cloth! So many options!

Not that I mean to spam the entire forum with one mediocre picture, but this is the Despos thread, and the mans work is featured twice in it.

This is a beautiful coat.

Realized I never updated this thread with finished pictures:

And to keep the thread moving along, I will be meeting with Chris again in the next couple of months. Probably between March and April. More deets to follow.

Also, a few snaps I took last week -- interesting to compare with the above.

Close up of combo / fabric.

Jacket unbuttoned -- it is my only jacket that doesn't splay outwards (even a little) when it is unbuttoned.

And then better indication of jacket fit.

Some Deets:

Front on shot.

1000

The back of the jacket -- normally a bit cleaner, but I think my arms were forward.

1000

Arms folded, I love how the jacket doesn't lose any shape when it is contorted, especially with respect to the shoulders.

And watch deets -- put it back on the black strap, which I haven't worn for a couple years now.

That suit looks outstanding. Fabric looks very similar to mine :). I was between the H&S and went for the Scabal, I believe. Lovely fabric. The fit is spot on.

It is actually 9oz, and scabal I believe. I would DIE in 16oz.
