Agree that is almost double the price of their RTW which Is pretty nice (Alessandro is gorgeous) and that is already quite expensive

3800 Euros ?????
I dont get it either. I think the regular brown ones cost about 1000 euros. Is this 2800 euros for the painted shark?

Maybe a big part of it is in the import duty

Something strange with farfetch prices. It shows me Givenchy sneakers at over 1200 euros and Loro Piana at 2300 euros.

^interesting. Berlu has a high vamp loafer as well as a side zip boot in the same style.

Very nice but if I were to make a formal pump, I would go with an English maker. G&G was telling me there is only 1 guy left who can do the pump stitch.


There's a whole post on blind welt stitching on Carreducker's blog. It produces the tightest, cleanest welt possible and likely it's the best option for traditional shoes for smart occasions.
