@JSO1 When I saw the pics I thought "Wow, somebody scored a new pair of Walnut Daltons!?" and then read that these were one of your most heavily worn pairs. You did a fantastic job.

Thanks! That's high praise.

I'm sure they haven't creased/rolled as much as other shell pairs I have because they are unlined.

PSA before I post in the MP. I'm selling my brown shell Jefferson 8.5D and BNIB burgundy shell strand 8E. Since the MTO is dead this is probably the cheapest they will be available. Drop me a PM if you're interested. I thought the guys in this thread deserves first dibs.

Good luck Dale! I'm on the verge of listing 5 pairs in Marjetplace myself, including this MTO beauty. 10.5 3E if anyone here wants first dibs before I throw them up on BS:

Must be the season. I just sold 17 pairs of shoes. Making room in my closet. Of course, I bought 6 or 7 pairs in the mean time. Just received navy CXL Kirkwoods today.

Watch, can you clarify this statement? Is the MTO program dead? Did I miss this?

No. My understanding is that there is a program being designed that will allow for MTOs but will be more formalized. There were far too many errors as well as far too loose of guidelines resulting in a less than satisfactory outcomes for both sides. I have no further details, other than that they are working on it now and will announce the program when its ready. Stay tuned...

Also, you can still order MTOs. I just got a quote for one yesterday, but it would have been full price, plus the MTO charge, with somewhat limited customization available. Ymmv.

AE is no longer willing to waive the MTO fee for group orders. Basically, the GMTO is dead.

Additionally, it sounds like AE is no longer willing to honor the sale price for a single MTO.

Until we get clarification, what they've said makes it sound as though this is the policy: MTO cost = full retail price (no sale pricing honored) + SMU fee (ranges from ~$70 to ~$115).

Early morning with the Leeds. 2nd outing.

They've got some great contrasting panels that change depending on the angle you look at them.

The Leeds are looking great bud!

Thanks. The left has gotten a funky crease I might try to work with but other than that so far so good. I'm thinking they're probably a @bl@ster pair. I can't remember his exact size but I think he was around an 11.5-12D. Chili split reverse welt, double JR sole.

I just spoke to Allison, and she is shipping the Oxblood First Avenue boots that are replacing the Eagle County Rivers that were never completed. I should hopefully have them next week!
