Alden Cigar shell cordovan plain toe boots on the fantastic 379x last with leather soles. Size 9e. Worn just a few times. $850 shipped

Very nice, would make a nice replacement for my cigar shell Indy boot that split. Too bad I'm an 11.5.

That being said, I ignored the advice here to not send my Indys back to Alden as I just had them refinished last year and probably only wore them 2-3 times since they were refinished. This means one of two things happened: They we're already split and the Alden refininishing department didn't notice or repair them or they were split during refinishing. Either way, I want to see what Alden's response is and decide it they are a company that I want to continue to buy from.

We will see.
