Park Ave sneakers going on the $xxx.97 pricing. Are they being discontinued? Shell, too…

They must know I have been eyeing yours and wondering if I could pull it off. Wanting to fake a pair of "real" shoes for long standing/walking days, so would have to choose the black sole. I don't wear enough black often enough, so can't justify black shell. Guess that means burgundy shell on black cup sole. Now... to actually pull the trigger on shell sneakers when I should really be saving for a shaved/scuffed Hamilton in the next TS. 🤒

Edit: sold out completely in burgundy shell. Also, forgot all colors come with white soles. Hami, here I come!

So, I logged in to see what the Anniversary Sale had to offer. I haven't bought anything since the Trunk Show, I've got a little itch going. Log in and go to the sale page, 250 items listed. Nice. I go ahead and enter my size (14 EEE). Wait for it.

3 items listed, 2 of them Fifth Avenues. That means that about 99% of what they have on sale is not available in my size.

I haven't been on the site for a while, and I like the new loafers. D width only.

Am I done with AE? Who left? My feet haven't changed?

I've been doing a lot of heavy lifting by telling every AE sales associate that they need to have the Hamilton in the shell trunk show, again! Only time will tell if it'll make it's triumphant return!

Wearing these marbled dark cognac shell PA sneakers after hearing they are changing the style to something new soon. I love how shell looks different against different flooring and in different lighting.

I just noticed that my Higgins order reads that they were sent with "next day air" shipping. I was not expecting that, and that's awesome of the Chicago store to do that for me. So in other words, I might receive them today.

I went with the Overlord for today, which I appreciate more and more.

Love the Overlord. I've got an eBay search set on them. If a decent pair ever pops up in my size at a good price, I'll most likely jump on them. I don't buy a lot of non-boot AEs, but I'll make an exception for those.

Also, I may have finally cracked the discomfort issue on the SMU Dalton boots after giving them an extended run the last time I wore them. These have been feeling great all day today.
