Taking the Indy’s out to a little birthday party.

Having my cake and eating it, too. A while back, I was stoked because my 2 favorite musicians (Colin Hay and Bob Schneider) were coming to Chicago. The problem was, they were both scheduled to play this Saturday night in 2 different venues at the exact same time. Saw that Colin Hay was performing in Milwaukee tonight, so that made scheduling things a ton easier. As a bonus, Little Donkey is in town for Spring Break and is thrilled to come with to both shows. Win-win.

Wearing waxed suede Higgins Mill boots for tonight, as they're one of my go-to pairs for heading out to venues for shows.

People thought I was nuts when I sold my gator Park Aves. I just knew I would wear them maybe once a year and felt like someone else would get a lot more value out of them. Knowing how deep your collection is, I can understand this move.

I need to repair my pair of Jeffersons as I love those shoes and I haven't worn them in a year because I gouged the tip. Note to self: Buy some Saphir Renovatrice.

Generally there will be a 10-15% discount on shell.

I placed a pre-order today with the Chicago store. Since they have shown more effort than just about everywhere else, I'll give them my business. I just ordered a chili Higgins in my correct size.
