Is Elon going to send some more tweets about it?
He called himself the Doge Father when he announced it so I’d assume there will be skits.

Fixed. It meets with pushback here every time I allege this but I'm telling you the expanded UI benefits and the dark age thinking of worth of hourly workers are impeding the return to work of unskilled labour.
Reminds me of the time honored tradition of hiring externally for 30% more than it costs to retain current employees or promote themFixed.
I fight with my company all the time because we’ve been dealing with labor shortages for 2 years. They’ve done absolutely nothing about it. They’d rather waste $10000 a week in “advertising” then give a higher starting rate. Blows my mind.
That's because they can kid themselves that higher recruitment costs are temporary, while higher labor rates would likely become permanent. They’d rather waste $10000 a week in “advertising” then give a higher starting rate. Blows my mind.

Then again I also have said for the last year HCWs and other front line essentials should have been getting incentivized to continue working to counteract the lure of expanded UI and being able to not expose one's self daily to the virus. That equation has changed with the vaccine but the expanded UI hasn't.
