There are, beyond doubt, dozens of people walking around with it in CA right now. Even if they do report in, most hospitals don't have test kits yet. It will be hundreds by the end of next week and schools will be closed the week after that, based on the Italy experience.

So has anyone quantified their losses yet?

Still at the portfolio size where a 10% decline is less than we put in each year. Just calculated that it would take ~14% decline to be more than annual contributions. I put more into the 529 plans Friday.

My MIL has made 2 trips to Costco over worries of the spread. She said people are loading up carts and carts of TP and water. Maybe time to buy Costco?

? You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away and know when to run
You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealing's done ?

Apparently alcohol will kill the CV. I bought two handles of Tito's today to find I still had an unopened handle in the bar. Cocsto recently had Bulliet on sale for $26 a handle if you bought three. I'm inoculating myself.

I hate this state so much. There was a lot to not like about MN, but the state run liquor stores are the worst. Before I left, I could get 1L bottles of Bulliet bourbon or rye for about $18/liter. Here it is $30 for a 750ml bottle.

Check out the podcast Capital Allocators. Specifically the episode with Verdad Advisors.
Dude, you can't be pimping Dan Rasmussen. Aren't you on the GP side of the fence?

I'm an independent sponsor and our deal size is so small that there really are true operating improvements we can make + our niche of distressed eCommerce is uncompetitive which = very well priced assets. I'm sure that will change later...but I think Dan is right all around and most PE makes no sense. VC valuation in particular is nuts...

Just listened to that Dan podcast this afternoon. Been a fan of his for a few years but not like I could get into his funds. Only way I could get deep value via ETF is ZIG which is Toby Carlisle fund
