^Perfect, found for 160. May kop, will contemplate whether I want those or the burberrys. Even though I said that above I am still not 100% sure about the larger lens vs. smaller for my face. Sunglass buying is hard.

Yea it is hard. I had always wanted a wayfarer shape but the ray-ban ones always looked awful on me but I tried those Dior's on at the solstice shop in the mall and they fit perfect.

I just hate the shape of the top of wayfarers. The best fitting shades I ever had were a pair of tortoise burberrys similar to those just posted that got stolen and I wasn't smart enough to write the model number down somewhere. Replaced them with tortoise BVs I posted a few pages ago, but I need a pair of black shades as well. The Dior's are a strong candidate, though I honestly don't know where I could try them on in Vancouver, we have sunglass hut and small shops but not much there lux-label-wise outside of brands like Dolce and Versace.

Gucci 1586/s is a low key take on the iconic Wayfarer style in Tortoise or Black. Old School heft with the grey green glass lenses. Nice "G" on the temples.

There is absolutely nothing nice about having a G on the temples of your sunglasses.

SALT is the only way to go with sunglasses. Unfortunately, I learned this after a ton of mistakes.

So if not the G... do you prefer the inlayed lazy T, the flattened O, a bejeweled CD, or perhaps simple opposing interlocking C's.

Clearly you don't understand what "low key" means, a giant logo on the side of the arms isn't low key by any stretch of the imagination. The only one you referenced that is somewhat low key is the logo on the TF sunglasses. However, I'd prefer something with no logo, like RLPL, Persol or the B&L Ray-Bans (the only RBs that matter).

You are right. No logo is without a doubt preferable, but in a world where the light of self aggrandizement shines into every dark corner, corporate branding will be the last lone soul to weave away from the party.
And for the record,... record?... The brow on the 1586's is whats "low key" for a Wayfarer. Not the FN' G.
And since we are all on the record here, if you are going to rock Wayfarers... Then ROCK Wayfarers. B&L 5024/5022. Worked for Jack. Might work for you.
Which is where, that's right...here it comes... enjoy it baby, you get to be right again.
And if you just can't pull it off, go soft and get thee to a pair of Aviators.

^ Looks good. I was tempted to get the matte black + mirrored lens ones but decided against it.

Those mirror ones are pretty sick yeh, the glasses are really comfortable, i was kinda surprised, if i didn't need new perscriptions i'd definately keep them as sunnies. I think it'd just be kinda stupid to get ANOTHER pair for sunglasses.

Hey, can someone please suggest any wayfarer-style sunglasses that are particularly small or narrow?

I have a fairly small and narrow head and regular ray-ban wayfarers just stick way too far out either side of my head.

I think ones with clear, or slightly translucent frames might help as well.

    Thanks!

If you don't mind treating yourself well and your wallet can handle it, go Oliver Peoples. "Deacon" runs around $350 USD
