I'm curious, did you request the jacket be squared off at the bottom? It stood out to me as being a little different, so I checked all mine to see if i just hadn't noticed it before. All mine are rounded at the edge, rather than forming corners. Tailor's "house style?"
I just saw this thread. Looks like a really nice shop; nice to know you can still find places like that in the U.S. As far as I can tell, the suit is coming along great. I noticed, in particular, that the back of the pants fit really nicely. Are the quarters going to be squared off like that, or are they yet to be rounded off?
FYI, I sent my jacket back to Chan as it suffered from the same puckering on the shoulder seem as yours did. When I received it, it looked like the problem was still there, but I gave it a good steam iron, and it was indeed fixed. So I trust Chan will do you right.
I regret getting rid of a POW check I had in a similar colour.
