the way viberg welts some of their boots. has their signature double row of stitching across the toe and vamp from the upper/midsole/solewhat is "stitchdown"?
what is "stitchdown"?
It's a construction method - not welted, since there is no welt. The leather upper is attached directly to the midsole and outsole. This is a traditional method of making workboots and boots like those that parajumpers wear. It can be found in both the best workwear boots, and in inexpensive footwear as well (see Clarks).the way viberg welts some of their boots. has their signature double row of stitching across the toe and vamp from the upper/midsole/sole
