1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Nah, it's a nice piece but was just asking. I don't really need another knit anyway and not a fan of the increased use of mohair and nylon these days.

Also, one shop ordering a certain piece and SS producing it would have to mean that SP ordered a ton of them and they did't, therefore, there should be more in existence.

Who got the blue one besides SP? I was under the impression that SP possibly saw all the preorders for wine and guessed that there would be a lot available on the 2nd hand market and picked up the blue instead, but maybe not.

Anyway, it doesn't surprise me that a store would choose the indigo over the wine. It just surprises me that they would choose neither. I wasn't referring to hype in my original post. Just seems like buyers would recognize what a great item it is, or SS would realize the demand from the preorder and pass that info along.

Who knows? Maybe the manufacturer produced less wine than the indigo one..(if not, then where did all the wine go?). A lot of the stuff in the preorder I don't see elsewhere either..(in terms of colour/fabric combinations)..maybe there are retailers that haven't been discovered yet or don't have an online presence..

This. I remember seeing a few stores in France and Belgium selling the brand, none of them having a website.

There are loads of retailers whose online footprint is either non-existent, or are disproportionately small compared to their prestige and influence offline. Louis Boston and Maxfield LA, which are both industry leaders, have essentially no web presence. Selfridges and Lane Crawford are relatively new to online retailing.

Yep. Likewise, Holt Renfrew has no online presence here and Harry Rosen has a limited one. Boutiques on Queen St. often only put a fraction of their inventory online too.

I honestly don't know why so many new knits are using nylon tbo but mohair isn't bad but it's kind of a delicate fibre I have a knit that's 100%mohair and yiyos really soft and luxe feel to it.

iPhone corrects everything it's supposed to be nylon and tbo was supposed to be tbh=to be honest. I know of one knit that I saw today that looks really nice but around 6 range.
